Hose-Coupling
Compatibility Guide
For your convenience, we offer this guide to the
IMPACT AIR 45®'s compatibility with hoses and
couplings from other dental manufacturers.
A-DEC
Manufactures a Midwest I.S.O. standard 4-hole and
5-hole without a quick disconnect, and is compatible
with the IMPACT AIR 45®.
Kavo
Their standard 4 and 5-hole hoses are compatible.
Their 6-hole fiberoptic hose is compatible with our
6-pin adapter.
The Quick Disconnect IMPACT AIR 45® is compatible
with the Kavo MULTIflex® Coupler.
Kinetic
Their non-swivel hose will fit the IMPACT AIR 45®,
their swivel hose will not. The fiberoptic bulb is in
the handpiece connection.
Lares
An I.S.O. standard hose that accepts our 4-hole and 5-hole handpiece; the fiberoptic light source is at the base.
Midwest
Makes a 4-hole and fiberoptic I.S.O. standard hose that
will fit the IMPACT AIR45®.
N.S.K.
Uses Midwest I.S.O. standard hoses. The IMPACT AIR 45® will fit their standard hose, but not the quick disconnect.
Star
Their hoses are Midwest-standard, 4-hole and 5-hole. Swivel must be removed for the IMPACT AIR 45® to fit.
The fiberoptic bulb is in the coupling.
